We took a hike up at the Forks of Buffalo, and saw all the beautiful leaves turning colors of red, orange, and brown. The kids really enjoyed it. This year has really flown by for us and we needed a good "break" from life! When we reached our destination we roasted hot dogs and marshmellows, and ate smores. Then the kids decided to play in the creek, Maggie found the creek very gracefully,by accident! They must have Mace blood, there was no way in the world I was getting in that freezing cold creek water. By the end, of the evening they were wet from head to toe walking out in underwear and blankets. Josh and I tried to dry off their clothes and shoes by the fire only to have them burn and melt..The kids comments "it was the best day of our life!" We hope all of you are enjoying the fall weather as much as we are!
