Field Trips!!

It's that time of year again when mom's learn to love all those wonderful field trips. I love going with my kids and having the opportunity to meet some of their friends and get to know them a little better. It allows for that necessary one and one time that we may not always have the chance to have! Her are a couple of my memories from Sadie and Logan's Field Trips. Unfortunately, Sadie caught a bug and I wasn't able to attend Maggie's field trip. I am planning on attending Monticello with her this spring.

Logan's Trip was at Layman's Pumpkin Patch towards Roanoke. We had a blast. I was even able to enjoy a few moments on the cow train with Logan. We started out in a corn maze where we were totally lost several times, then onto a gigantic trampoline, where one of the girls threwup and it had to be shutdown. A hayride through the pumpkin patch, onto the cow train where Logan took a ride in Sweat pea and I rode in Oreo. I felt like a kid again, I was the only parent on the train, I followed the teacher, when she jumped on so did I! Then logan took a ride down the potato sack shoot and last but not least the corn box. I thought these people were quite creative in their designs. Here are some pictures.

Sadie's Field trip was great and well thought out. We went on a scavenger hunt and had to collect specific items in nature. We were paired up with Sadie's Best Preschool friend Mary Helen and her mom. It took place at the local park and was lots of fun!
