First Day of School Fall 2011

This year is what mommy calls a transition year. All three kids are in school now, which calls for MAJOR CHANGE! Here in Campbell County, they do something we thought was super neat! The kindergarteners start their first day of school, the friday before everyone else. Mom and Dad can ride the school bus with our child and we have orientation in the school while the kids are in the classrooms.It really helps them transition. We had a blast with Sadie and she has transitioned very well. The first week was rough, we have full day kindergarten. She would complain about how long the day was...now she is used to it, loves school and sleeps well! Logan is in 2nd grade and we feel super blessed to have his teacher, she is amazing and is helping foster that LOVE OF LEARNING with him. Maggie started 4th grade and loved every minute of it, including her teacher. Her disadvantage was she doesn't have any of her friends in her rotation of classes.
