Derecho of 2012

We were blessed to only be out of power till Wednesday. The storm hit late Friday evening. We were heading to Virginia Beach for the twins birthday party when it hit Lynchburg. Our house was out of power Friday through Tuesday. We headed home Sunday to clean out the fridges and freezers. Then came back to the beach for the 4th of July! Once we returned to Lynchburg, Aunt Maryjo needed help cleaning up her house and yard. Unfortunately, the men were at work and it left the women to move the logs! While we were working it started raining but didn't stop yet! We headed over and quickly learned how blessed we truly were!!!
