Happy Holidays 2012

Wall east coasters all came together for a Christmas get together. We had lots of fun together. We made Gingerbread houses, watched a movie, played with little people, and even took a ride on the polar express. (Girls popped popcorn, made hot chocolate, loaded all the kids in the suburban, and went to see Christmas lights while listening to music.)
Christmas Eve lights with presents wrapped anxiously awaiting little hands.
Maggie's favorite Disney Sing it on the Wii.

Sadie loves to pretend and was really wanting a cash register.

Logan loves Lego's and was excited to get a "mine".

Maw-Maw's 90th birthday party. We combined the Mace seafood dinner with the birthday party. Erin and I carefully lit ninety candles on the cake. Maw-Maw surprised us all by blowing out the candles on two instead of three. We had a good laugh from it.
This year we started a new tradition for the month of November. This is a picture of our Thanksgiving tree. We all put leaves up on the branches throughout the month of everything we were grateful for..I was surprised how much the kids really enjoyed it!

For Thanksgiving we went to Morehead City, NC with Dobbie and Big Papa. One a windy day we decided to visit one of the old forts, Fort Macon. The kids loved it and really enjoyed going "back" in time. We all learned many things about the past.

Family photos taken by the ever gracious Meagen Mace. She did a fabulous job.  I love the way she truly captured each child's personality.
