We have Much Anticipated the Arrival of....

SNOW!!!!SNOW!!!SNOW!!SNOW!

We lived on the Eastern Shore for 4 years and only saw a dusting twice. My kid shave never really experienced SNOW!!SO...much to our anticipation, yesterday, almost immediately after arriving home from church it started snowing. The weather had forecast 6-10inches, this morning we are proud to say we have a foot of snow!! The kids are very excited and so was Josh, however, Josh was suppose to be in Grundy, Southwestern Virginia, tomorrow. Yesterday, when he saw the forecast he drove the truck up to the top of the driveway and left it overnight. Much to his dismay and effort...he found when trying to leave, that he was also attempting to plow the road with the front of the truck...minus the snowplow!

We were not very prepared for the snow, so we did what we could to bundle up and decided to go for a walk up the driveway. The scene of everything white, is BREATHTAKING!! Then we didn't have a sled, so we used a trash can lid, and sled down the steps of the deck. Leave it to Daddy to get creative. The KIDS LOVED IT!!! I LOVE MAKING MEMORIES!! I personally have not seen this much snow in about 20+ years. It is VERY exciting!!Here are some of our captured moments!
