New Glasses!

Time seems to fly and soon we find ourselves with older children. Maggie turned eight this year and it growing into a beautiful young lady. She is still quite a bit of a tomboy...so I find myself reminding her of "lady like" things, like when you wake-up in the morning you have to brush your hair and such...we are working more and more on modesty. I have always been jealous of her beautiful locks of curls! She tells me this morning she wishes her hair was straight! I say "sometimes we just are satisfied!! I want your hair and you want mine, but Heavenly Father created you to look just the way you do and you are beautiful", I love teaching moments! A couple of weeks ago, her eye sight was tested again and she failed the school test. I took her to the eye doctor and in just one year her vision went from 1.25 to 4.25. I was a little concerned. The doctor said they notice these jumps, when the grow a lot at once! So needless to say, we have new glasses and she looks beautiful in them!I was trying to get a picture of her, but she was too engrossed in her book...so this is the best I got!
