So I nearly dropped off the face of the earth for a while and here is a slight reason why...(this is more for journal purposes). We moved into my in-laws in October and decided that we would wait to purchase another home until we could settle the one on the Eastern Shore, it had been on the market for about 2 years. We could have done both payments but really didn't want to get in over our heads if an emergency arose. So my in-laws were very gracious. Come the end January we decided to rent it out it just wasn't selling. So, we were lucky to find some renters who wanted a lease option, in about 2 weeks and they were an answer to our prayers, we just didn't really know it yet!
I was calling around about apartments when I called a Realtor to ask about houses with lease options. She informed me that if our home had a contract on it, we could purchase. I was thrilled!!! We found a loan we qualified for, but the government was running out of money and we had to close soon...so we started looking. We looked daily till I had about enough, problem was we were too picky and time was running out. We didn't want to move into a new ward, (church boundaries were different)we loved ours. Finally, when walking through with our Realtor we told her everything we wanted...new updates, brick, wood floors, fireplace...she told us of a property. It was in the county and out of the boundaries. We decided to look at it anyway. After seeing the property 6 times in a span of about 2 or 3 weeks, we decided to pray about it. We were a little torn, but new this was the home and location for us. We love it! It is a subdivision (which is new to us, we have never had neighbors). It has three lakes, tennis courts, pool and super quite, right off of 460. We have a new updated home with a huge Bedford rock fireplace and over 800 sqaure feet to finish off and make 2 more bedrooms++ We didn't pay a dime for it! The loan was no money down and the sellers paid up to 6500 in closing costs.Josh said when he was growing up "this was the place to live". We had all our paperwork in by the end of March and Moved in the last week of April, 7 months after not having our own place we were thrilled!
A TRUE MIRACLE! I know that God it watching over our little family. He knows our limits and what we can handle. I am so glad I have wonderful family members willing to help out in any given situation. Lastly, I am thankful for the trials I went through which has made me the person that I am today.
